7:15 am in Troy Saturday, May 18The Rensselaer Student Union Postal Substation will be closing permanently at 4pm on May 24, 2013.
For outgoing stamped mail, there is a US Post office mailbox located on the East entrance exterior of the Student Union.
If students or staff need packages mailed, this can be done at the Main Troy Branch of the USPS located at 400 Broadway(on the corner of 4th Street). Their phone number is 518-272-7300. The RPI Shuttle East provides shuttle service to Blitman Commons and the Troy Post Office is 2 blocks away.
Internal Campus Mail and stamped mail can be processed through the RPI Mailroom. The RPI Mailroom may also be a stamped mail and stamped package drop-off location. They can be reached at 518-276-6292. They also have a website with details.
The RPI Campus Store located in the Rensselaer Union will be selling stamps in books of 10 only.
There is also a UPS Store located in the Walmart Shopping Plaza at 740 Hoosick Road, Troy, NY 12180. 518-270-0909.
