Campus and Beyond

Outside the Union, there's a campus bristling with activities, events, and (of course) academic courses. The Union and its students have massive influence beyond the Union's walls. And beyond campus, the City of Troy and the Albany Capital District beckon.

The extensive equipment, facilities, and expertise of the Mueller Center allows you to get a thorough workout. The Mueller Center is funded by the Student Activity Fees.

RPI Athletics

The Rensselaer Athletics Department provides broad-based opportunities to enhance the overall student-athlete experience through high-level intercollegiate and recreational competition.

Main site for the City of Troy, New York.

Off-Campus Housing Database

This site allows students to find properties for rent and connect with landlords. Landlords can register to feature their listings on the site.

Campus Services

Concerto

Concerto is a student-run, campus-wide service of the Student Senate's Web Technologies Group that displays graphical and text-based announcements on a network of flat panel screens. Concerto brings digital signage to the masses, allowing anyone with an RPI computer account to submit content.

myRPI-space Hosting

The Student Senate Web Technologies Group provides advanced web hosting services to all current students and other current members of the RPI community. A myRPI-space account includes lots of disk space, bandwidth, and access to many powerful scripting languages, frameworks, and other features.

Transportation

Amtrak Rail Service

The Rensselaer train station in Albany is serviced by Amtrak. Student Advantage cardholders can get special discounts on rail tickets.

CDTA Bus Schedules

The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) is the premier mobility provider in the Albany Capital Region, providing regular route bus service, shuttle systems and paratransit services.

Parking and Transportation

The Office of Parking and Transportation provides the Rensselaer campus with well-maintained, well-lit, and well-patrolled parking lots and a garage facility, all of which have nearby emergency call boxes.

Shuttle Tracking

The Web Technologies Group of the Student Senate runs a system that tracks the current locations of shuttle buses around RPI's Troy campus.
